Instead of tending crops from the comfort of your own plot, you become the plant. You start as a seed, get planted in someone else’s garden, grow into a vegetable or fruit, and then make a run for it before the garden’s owner catches you. It sounds simple, but once you understand how every mechanic connects, this game becomes genuinely addictive and surprisingly deep.
How the Core Loop Works
When you first load into the game, you will find yourself as a small seed character with a face. The first thing you need to do is head to the path and cross the red line. Once you do, a garden guard, most commonly Grandpa at the start, will catch you and plant you in their garden. This is not a failure state. It is the entire point of the game.
Once planted, you will randomly roll into a plant. You can click rapidly to speed up the growing process, shaving seconds off the timer. When you hit 100 percent growth, your character fully transforms, and the guard will immediately start chasing you. You need to sprint back to your own base, plant what you grew, and collect the cash it generates every second. That cash then funds your upgrades, better seeds, and eventually lets you reach further gardens where the plant rolls are significantly more powerful.
