Why You Need Two Separate Builds

One of the most important things to understand in Sailor Piece is that damage and luck are fundamentally opposed in terms of itemization. You cannot be running your damage relic while farming for rare drops because the luck relic will always serve you better in that context. Likewise, using a luck-focused setup against a boss or in the infinite tower will leave you noticeably underperforming on output. Keeping two saved build slots and knowing when to swap is not optional at the endgame, it is the entire strategy.

The Max Damage Build

Core Equipment

For max damage, every slot needs to be pulling its weight. Here is what the strongest damage build currently looks like:

The Emperor trait is especially valuable here because it does not just offer a damage multiplier. It also reduces cooldowns, which means you are putting out more moves in less time. This compound effect is why Emperor consistently beats out other trait options for serious damage-focused play. Similarly, the Primordial Rune scales with investment, so leveling it to 60 should be a priority rather than an afterthought.

Your artifacts deserve particular attention. Rolling Abyssal Crown pieces with crit damage as the main stat and crit chance as a substat is the ideal configuration, but it is worth knowing when enough crit chance is enough. Once you are sitting at 90% or above, additional crit chance rolls become wasteful. At that point, any body piece carrying extra crit damage instead of more crit chance will actually move your numbers higher, which is a counterintuitive lesson a lot of players learn too late.

Guild Bonuses Matter More Than You Think

One of the more overlooked damage sources in the game is the guild system. A well-upgraded guild can contribute up to 15% additional damage to your build, and that is not a number you can ignore at the endgame. If your guild is missing key upgrades in damage, crit damage, or crit chance, you are genuinely leaving DPS on the table that cannot be compensated for anywhere else in the build. Getting into an active, high-ranking guild is part of the max damage build, not a side activity.

Maxing the Systems That Most People Skip

Boss rush and infinite tower upgrades, the blessing system capped at B10, and full ascension to level 10 are all easy to postpone but collectively account for a meaningful chunk of total damage output. The skill tree should be maxed to 490 SP with damage and crit prioritized first. All three Haki types should be leveled as well, with Conqueror’s Haki contributing a separate damage multiplier that stacks cleanly with everything else. Core Equipment for Max Luck

The luck build shares some items with the damage build but diverges in key slots. The luck relic replaces the damage relic, and the spec passive should be swapped to one that grants the luck passive bonus. The Primordial bloodline is preferred over Astral here because it offers a higher flat luck value. The Fortune Chosen title variant earns its place over a flat luck booster when you account for the extra drop chance it provides alongside luck, making it more efficient for actual farming sessions.

Radiant runes are used in place of Primordial for this build, adding 28% luck. The Eminence Clan is the right choice here as well, offering solid farming support without sacrificing too much damage to make the farming actually viable. Combined with the guild’s 10% luck contribution (which again highlights why guild quality matters across both builds), and the full breakdown of luck sources including ascensions, boss rush, infinite tower, race, bloodline, title, spec passive, power, and stat roll, the numbers stack quickly.

Realistic Luck Targets

Without the 2x luck game pass, a max luck build realistically lands around 835%. With the game pass active, 846% or slightly above is achievable. The difference between a half-assembled luck build and a fully optimized one is significant enough in a long farming session to completely change how many attempts you need for pity-dependent drops like rare accessories and relics.

Getting the Damage Relic

The damage relic requires 40 relic part 7s, 30 relic part 8s, 50 relic part 1s, and 50 relic part 3s. Parts 7 and 8 drop from enemies on the final island, while parts 1 through 4 come from the starter island across two separate NPC groups. Parts 5 and 6 correspond to the luck relic and come from the middle island group. Part 3s are notably the slowest to farm, and if you are close to the required amount, trading with other players using surplus parts from other sets is a time-efficient move that most veterans do not hesitate to make.

Testing Your Damage: What 630 Billion Looks Like

Once the damage build is fully assembled with frostbane and rampage buffs active, the raw output numbers become genuinely hard to believe. A single F-move on a dummy with full buffs ticking has been recorded at over 630 billion damage. Without any buffs active, just a raw first hit, numbers in the 350 billion range are achievable. For context, running the Ultra Clan ability that applies a 1.5x damage multiplier during this window pushes individual hits past 500 billion. The ceiling is likely around 700 to 750 billion with a more optimized spec passive and power, which means there is still room to grow even at this level.
