Whether you are a returning player looking to upgrade your OG plant or a new farmer trying to craft one from scratch, this guide covers everything you need to know.

What Is the Candy Blossom?

The Candy Blossom is a limited, multi-harvest crop classified as a Flower, Candy, Sweet, and Easter type. It features a bright-pink trunk that forks into two branches, each displaying a separate aquamarine-colored canopy, resembling a fantastical candy-inspired tree. It belongs to the rare Blossom type of crops, of which the entire game has only seven. During the Easter Event 2025, it was nearly impossible to obtain, available only through the Easter Event Shop at an extremely high price or a low restock chance, and then completely discontinued. Now, it is back through a crafting system that anyone can work toward, provided they put in the grind.

How to Craft the Candy Blossom Seed

Getting the Candy Blossom in Grow a Garden now requires two key materials: Golden Eggs and a Candy Blossom Shard. To get the first seed, you need 50 Golden Eggs and a Candy Blossom Shard. Keep in mind that every new seed you craft will increase these requirements.

Here is how to get each component:

• Golden Eggs: These must be purchased from the Golden Stand through the Tony NPC. Normal Golden Eggs earn 1 point, and Premium Golden Eggs earn 2 points. Any combination totaling 50 points qualifies. The shop price doubles with each purchase, so it is worth spreading your buying across multiple restarts rather than stacking all at once.
• Candy Blossom Shard: The Candy Blossom Shard is a mythical gear item obtained from every 25th submission to the Angry Plant (Venus Flytrap NPC). It cannot be bought from any shop and is earned exclusively through consistent progress in the quest chain.
• Submitting Crops: One important detail to keep in mind is weight. The Angry Plant will sometimes specify a minimum weight for the submitted crop. If your plant is too light, the submission will be rejected. Placing a sprinkler near your crops before they fully grow is the most reliable way to ensure they reach an acceptable weight. Candy Carrot grows the fastest, making it the best choice for high-volume submissions.

Once you have both materials, head to the Candy Blossom Stand and talk to the Candy Caitlyn NPC to complete the craft and receive your seed.

Farming Golden Eggs and Chocolate Coins Efficiently

The biggest bottleneck in this entire process is having enough Chocolate Coins to consistently buy Golden Eggs before prices climb. The Easter Garden is your best friend here. Every time a new seed is crafted, the requirements increase gradually, which encourages efficient farming and resource planning.

To make the most of your Easter Garden runs:

• Use a full spread of sprinklers, including Master, Grandmaster, Godly, and Advanced tiers, to grow crops as large as possible before harvesting.
• The Chocolate Sprinkler, available in the Easter shop, applies the Chocolate mutation to everything nearby and also gives your plants a two-times value multiplier. Using it before you sell anything is a smart move, regardless of whether you need the mutation for a quest.
• The Easter Egg Hunt is also worth running each hour. It is a simple activity where you collect 10 eggs scattered around the map, and the Chocolate Coin rewards can give newer players a meaningful early boost.

The Evil Bunny, located across from the Candy Blossom Stand, offers another parallel income stream. Once you interact with the bunny, he will tell you which plant you must destroy to fulfill his mini quest. You have 30 minutes per plant to complete this, and the better the plant you sacrifice, the better the rewards. Higher-rarity plant sacrifices can yield Golden Eggs directly, which can save you a significant amount of Chocolate Coins over time.

What Is the Elder Candy Blossom?

The Elder Candy Blossom is an upgraded version of the standard Candy Blossom and is one of the most valuable crops currently in the game. It is a limited prismatic crop that occasionally mutates nearby fruit with the Blossoming mutation and grants a chance for nearby pet eggs to hatch with the Blossoming pet mutation. This makes it useful not just for its sell value, but for passively improving your entire garden’s output over time.

Observed Elder Candy Blossom values range around 235,000 to 270,000 Sheckles depending on fruit size, which puts it well above most crops available during the event.

How to Get the Elder Candy Blossom

The Elder Candy Blossom is obtained by converting a Candy Blossom crop using the Elder Candy Blossom Upgrader. It can only be used on Candy Blossoms that were obtained from the Easter Event 2026.

For players who already owned the Candy Blossom from the original Easter Event 2025, the update automatically provided Elder Candy Blossom Upgraders equal to the number of Candy Blossom plants or seeds they had. To use the Upgrader, simply place it on any fully grown regular Candy Blossom crop and it will convert permanently into an Elder Candy Blossom.

For players who are new to the Candy Blossom entirely, the Elder upgrade path is not immediately available. The standard crafting system through the Candy Blossom stall is the route for new players, while the Elder upgrade is reserved for those with prior ownership. This creates a meaningful distinction that rewards long-time players while keeping the base crop accessible to everyone.

Tips Before You Start Grinding

A few things to keep in mind before you dive into the event:

• Prioritize Premium Golden Eggs when you have the choice, since each one counts as two points toward your crafting requirement.
• Run the Angry Plant quest and egg farming simultaneously rather than one at a time, as doing both in parallel cuts your total time roughly in half.
• Do not overspend on Golden Eggs in a single session. The shop price resets after several hours, so spreading purchases across sessions keeps your Chocolate Coin costs manageable.
• Start farming Chocolate Coins early so you have a healthy stockpile before Tony’s Golden Egg prices climb.
