Roblox Creator Showdown 2026 – Teams, Games, Winner, and How to Watch

Roblox Creator Showdown 2026 - Teams, Games, Winner, and How to Watch

When Roblox hosted its first Creator Showdown back in December 2025, it was a proof of concept – eight influencers, a $50,000 prize pool, and a live-streamed event that brought competitive gaming to the platform in a way nobody had really seen before. The experiment worked. And now, with the Creator Showdown 2 (Las Vegas), Roblox has made it bigger, louder, and far more competitive.

Here is everything you need to know about the Roblox Creator Showdown 2026 – the teams, the games, the winner, and how viewers could participate from inside the platform itself.

What Is the Roblox Creator Showdown?

The Creator Showdown is Roblox’s flagship creator-led esports tournament, designed to showcase competitive gameplay across some of the platform’s most popular games. What makes it different from a typical gaming tournament is that it blurs the line between spectator and participant. Hundreds of thousands of players watch from inside The Block – an immersive Roblox experience – while millions more tune in across YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.

The second edition, Creator Showdown Las Vegas, aired on April 24, 2026, hosted in front of a live audience and broadcast starting at 12:30 p.m. PT. Roblox CEO David Baszucki personally welcomed the crowd, noting that the event represented both a showcase of competitive gaming and a glimpse at where Roblox as a platform is heading.

The tournament featured eight competitors divided into four teams, each competing for a share of $50,000 and serious bragging rights.

Team Red (Defending Champions): Caylus and Foltyn returned as the reigning champions from the first Creator Showdown. They came into the event with momentum – Caylus hit 10 million subscribers just as the tournament was getting underway, a milestone acknowledged live during the broadcast. The pair were widely considered the team to beat, having dominated Rivals in the first event by dropping only a single round across their entire run.

Team Green: LanaRae and SabrinaBrite entered as one of the biggest underdogs of the tournament. Nobody had them pegged as a threat in Rivals, the opening game. That made what followed all the more remarkable.

Team Yellow: Bundun and TheaBeasty made up the yellow squad. Bundun had previously served as co-host of the first Creator Showdown – this time he was competing. TheaBeasty reportedly put in serious prep time before the event, even training with one of the top competitive Rivals players to sharpen her skills.

Team Orange: Cash and Vindooly rounded out the field. Vindooly in particular brought a background in competitive gaming communities and was widely seen as one of the most mechanically gifted players in the field.

One of the biggest changes from the first event was the game lineup. Only one game returned from the original Creator Showdown, with the rest being entirely new additions. Teams competed across five rounds in total, testing a wide range of Roblox skills – from reflexes and aim to teamwork and platforming.

The confirmed games were:

  • Rivals – The high-flying arena shooter returned as the opening game. It rewards movement, positioning, and teamwork, and proved once again to be one of the most mechanically demanding titles in the lineup.
  • Chained – An obby game with a twist: two players are physically chained together and must navigate an obstacle course in sync. Strong communication and coordination matter just as much as individual skill.
  • Racket Rivals – A futuristic racket sport pulling from badminton, tennis, squash, and volleyball. Competitors had to pop 30 balloons during matches to unlock the event badge.
  • Knockout – A breakout 2026 hit in which players attempt to knock each other off a platform. It has taken Roblox by storm and brought a genuinely tense, turn-based element to the lineup.
  • Wildcard Round – Players watching live inside The Block voted on whether Round 3 would be played in Gunfight Arena (a 4v4 FPS with over 200 weapons) or Dueling Grounds (a one-on-one weapons fighter built around timing, parrying, and counters). This mechanic was one of the most creative elements of the whole event.

The wildcard vote was a genuine differentiator. Rather than spectators passively watching, tens of thousands of players inside The Block had a direct say in shaping the competition. It is the kind of interactivity that no traditional esports broadcast can offer, and it is clearly one of the formats Roblox intends to keep building on.

Who Won the Roblox Creator Showdown 2026?

The event produced one of the bigger upsets in the short history of the Creator Showdown. Team Green – LanaRae and SabrinaBrite – who entered as underdogs and were not expected to contend in the opening Rivals game, ended up winning the Rivals round with six points, finishing ahead of both the defending champions and the heavily favored orange team.

Their strategy was unconventional. Rather than defaulting to the AR or sniper that most teams relied on in the first Creator Showdown, SabrinaBrite committed to an RPG-and-minigun playstyle that seemed chaotic on paper but proved brutally effective. She systematically dismantled multiple teams with it, winning several clutch one-versus-one situations and consistently outperforming expectations.

Team Orange, led by Cash and Vindooly, posted the second-strongest performance in Rivals with four points. They defeated Team Red twice in the process – a result that surprised many viewers, given how dominant the defending champions had been in the same game just months earlier. Team Red finished with two points from Rivals, while Team Yellow ended the opening round with zero.

The full final standings across all five games are what determined the overall $50,000 winner, with the leaderboard tightening significantly as the event moved through Chained and into the wildcard and final rounds.

How to Earn Free UGC in the Creator Showdown

For players who wanted more than just the spectacle, Roblox built a full reward system into the event through The Block. Here is how cred – the in-game currency used to claim prizes – could be earned:

  • RSVP to the event – 100 cred, instant and effortless.
  • Join the Roblox Group Music on Roblox – 300 cred.
  • Past event attendance – 100 cred for each previous Block event attended.
  • Watch the live stream – 300 cred per 10 minutes watched inside The Block. Given the stream ran for several hours, this was the single biggest cred opportunity available.
  • Vote participation – 550 cred each time you voted in a poll, up to 8 times.
  • Invite friends – Up to 500 cred for inviting five friends who join during the stream.
  • Game badges – Completing badges in Rivals, Racket Rivals, Gunfight Arena, Chained, Knockout, and Dueling Grounds all contributed cred before the live stream began.

The three UGC prizes were the Showdown Bunny Ears, the Showdown Traffic Cone, and the Showdown Sword Pack – each a stylized take on recognizable Roblox items. Players who completed their game badges before April 24 and then engaged actively during the live stream had a clear path to claiming all three.

One thing worth noting: the game badge quests had to be completed before the live stream started. Players who left them until the day of the event risked missing the window entirely. The badges themselves ranged from straightforward (playing through a full Gunfight Arena match) to moderately involved (winning five games of Knockout, popping 30 balloons in Racket Rivals).

Why the Creator Showdown Matters

The Creator Showdown is not just a fun event – it is Roblox signaling the direction it wants to take competitive and live entertainment on the platform. The combination of creator-driven personalities, interactive spectator mechanics, genuine prize pools, and in-game reward systems creates something that traditional gaming tournaments do not offer. Viewers are not just watching. They are playing alongside the stream, influencing the competition through votes, and walking away with exclusive items.

With two successful events under its belt and a growing formula, the Creator Showdown looks set to become one of the most anticipated recurring events in the Roblox calendar.
